Default Happy Cinco De Mayo!

Happy Cinco De Mayo....

Enjoy the holiday and be safe! (Dont drink and drive)

...too bad its finals week in college; and I have a dry socket where my tooth was extracted (its not just painful....its excruciating.) Tequila would probably help, but I will save that for another topic.

As for this one, does anyone remember the first Cinco De Mayo you celebrated. This will be my first since I turned 21 years old; I cant do crap but thats alright...I'll celebrate when I get better. When I was younger, we always did arts and crafts and ate mexican food at school....any traditions yall guys have?

Happy CdM! An important day in Mexican history, and also a good excuse to enjoy a margarita and some Mexican food. Cheers to you all!

Ricardo, what is the exact link to your gallery, I don't see the featured album in the upper right...

Lest we not forget Cinco de Mayo is not Mexican Independence day…
Cinco de Mayo is the celebration of the courage of the Mexican people during the battle (La Batalla de Puebla) on May 5th, 1862 where 4,500 Mexican soldiers defeated the Mexican traitors (exiled Mexican Convervatives) and French army of 6,500 at Puebla, Mexico . Puebla is 100 miles east of Mexico City. The Mexican forces were made up of untrained commoners. This victory did not win the war but it showed the courage and strength of the Mexican troops. The "Batalla de Puebla" became a symbol of Mexican unity and patriotism.

Ah, the problem is with their web site. When viewing with Mozilla Firefox, that whole right hand side is gone, including those featured albums. I see it now in IE. I was looking all over the place.

The album looks great, thanks for the plug too!

So I got a call that my package from Caramba Tequila was at the USPS office in the HAZMAT room. I was so excited because today is Cinco De Mayo and I dont have the money to purchase any tequila....but I knew this was on the way....

Anyways, I went up there an hour ago to pick up my goods...the box was wet and smelled like tequila....here was what I found

That sucks, bn. I hope it was insured. I'll have a few Riedels of 1800 Milenio in your honor and for Cinco de Mayo.
