I'm sad that I can't write a good review for this tequila. I'm sad because all of the wonderful notes other reviewers mentioned are all here, but in such small background quantities and ONLY in the body. The nose has that "cheap tequila" vibe that we all know when we come across something that is 100% agave but still sub par. That same vibe is very present in the tail end of the finish. The body does hold the butterscotch and vanilla notes I crave from a tequila but they are almost an afterthought as the start and finish lines are a bit tainted. At right under $40 I'll pass on this bottle any day of the week.
