One characteristic that quickly differentiates this tequila from other blancos is how incredibly delicate and light it is on the palate. If you enjoy a more vegitile, earthy tequila, I would highly recommend this one.
Nose: (pretty much the same as everyone has already said) Earthy, Strong Agave as well.
Initial Taste: starts out being sweet and somewhat subtle to mildly peppery
Body: Crystal clear as the name would suggest.
Finish: Starts very smooth and warms up with agave and pepper but does not linger too long.
I paid $32.99 for it but have seen it priced as high as $42. This tequila is good to have around because it also mixes really well. I would recommend it in a Margarita or Paloma if you are overwhelmed by the nose.
This website and the reviews on Casa Noble got me enthused about tequila. It is highly rated and the reviews are accurate. After reading about it I wanted it badly. I looked all over but it seemed hopeless. But one day a giant liquor store had began stocking it. Thank Heavens!! The blanco came in a package with a 50ml reposado and a 50ml anejo for $49.99. Bought; drank; love. It opened me up to the world of tequilas.
Drank it mostly in margaritas. Superb. The flavor was outstanding.
I highly recommend this tequila to anyone and everyone.
I've had Casa Noble Crystal in my cabinet for a while now but never got around to a review. This tequila has the boldest agave smell and taste of any that I have tried thus far. It tends to be too overpowering for me but I could see where a person might like their agave to "hit them upside the head"...this one definitely does that! Body is decent and it has a nice consistency, but the taste is just too earthy and sharp for me to really love it. Maybe the fact that it's "organic" or triple distilled has something to do with that? Overall, I think it's a smooth tequila with a good alcohol balance on entry and at the finish, but the lack of any sweetness, citrus, or other complexities sort of push it to the back shelf for me. It has a nice bottle and it's worth a try.
I've seen so many glowing reviews for this tequila that I want to love it, but I've tried my bottle 3 times and just can't get into it. Anyway, I least try to be fair with the notes.
Aroma: Extremely earthy agave...clay and vegetal tones. Not a lot of sweetness to the nose.
Initial Taste: Almost bittersweet with a hint of alcohol. Earthy and vegetal notes are present too.
Body: Semi-oily. Peppery flavors become present with the earthy agave. The flavors continue to be a little harsh.
Finish: A medium finish with a bit of alcohol burn. The flavors a bit bitter, which really doesn't allow me to enjoy the agave or pepper flavors that are there.
I'm thinking/hoping that maybe I just got a bad bottle. I'd happily be willing to try someone else's and see if that's the case, but I don't think I can spend again on something that I really disliked. Anyway, do all the research you want on this one. My review is just one man's palate.
always been a fan of casa noble's line of products, and have sampled most of them.
this one is lite, crispy, with a hint of agave and spice.perfect for mixing and for shooters.(best chilled for shooters but not needed)nice smooth blanco!thank you to casa noble once again!
