Default Anejo Tequila Suggestions?

Hi, I'm new to this community and tequila as a whole. I've really come around tequila after trying a few high-end brands. I've been trying tequilas seriously for about the past 5 or 6 months. I seem to prefer the anejos the most. I was wondering if you all had some recommendations. I've tried mostly anejos (and some reps) from corzon, patron, cazadores, pura sangre, porfidio, chinaco, partida, cuervo especial, and cuervo 1800. My three favorites from top to bottom are the anejos put out by partida, chinaco, and porfidio. Do you all have any recomendations for future sampling? I've been recommended Herradura, Dulce Vida, and Corrido.

You can take a look at the top rated Anejo page, that might help you pick a few more.

I would agree with the Herradura, Dulce Vida, and Corrido.

Welcome to T.net! I don't know what your selections are like in Connecticut, however there are so many fantastic high quality anejos available for purchase online. Just a few additional anejos to consider (and there are many) are Don Pilar, El Tesoro, Fortaleza, and Casa Noble. OBTW...Corrido is a great choice as well. Have fun with your tastings!

Casa Noble añejo is a safe card, also Corrido, Aha Toro añejo and last but not least El tesoro añejo.

If you're from CT, go to Kh&H liquors thats attached to a Costco. They have squat in stock, but can order several great brands and their prices are reasonable.
I second the Casa Noble Anejo, its one of my favorites

If you get a chance. Give Don Pilar or Orgullo de Pueblo Viejo a try. Very enjoyable.

Ever since my first taste of Don Pilar's tequilas last September during The Spirits of Mexico in Old Town San Diego, I have been highly recommending this fine juice to everyone! I was amazed at how passionate Senor Pilar was over his tequila. I can still remember his "gigantic" pours that he gave me! His true passion, pride and enthusiasm is clearly evident by the quality inside the bottle. I asked his grandson to please translate for me. I asked him to please tell his grandfather that in my opinion I personally had his tequilas rated, for my palate, in the top three for the entire festival....hands down! Here I am just an average guy giving this distinguished man his due and you could tell that he was clearly thankful for my opinion! Attached is a photo of Don Pilar which IMHO truely captures this man's spirit!

I will add Tequila Ocho anejo and Centinela to the list. Ocho is a little pricey, but excellent, and Centinela is normally at a great price point.
