I bought a bottle of 1800 becuase it was on sale for $15 at my local Jewel/Osco. I remember it from years ago (i'm in my 50's) when it was considered the best tequila. Well it was really disappointing this time...I do not think I would buy it again even at that price.

Rich smoky taste was overshadowed by a very bitter/sour taste and aftertaste.

I agree with tommy bartend. The price may have been right, but the taste was not what i expected. To me the "smokey taste" tasted like chewing cigarettes and it does leave a nasty aftertaste. I prefer something a little more sweeter but still with 40% alc. Vol.
