After enjoying the blanco so much, I was anxious to try the repo from this line. The nose is nice, very similar to the blanco, but with a hint of oak as you would expect. It has that organic nose, mostly agave, but with a bit of vegetal and earthiness.

Initial taste is sweet agave, but again the oak starts to come through, but almost with a perfumey note added. I'm not crazy about that perfume - not sure how else to describe it. Dare I say it has a bit of Casa Cuervo taste?

The body is medium and semi-oily, which I like, except when the taste is off a bit. Finish on this is smooth, with mimimal burn of fairly short duration.

I like the blanco better than the repo here, and will probably go ahead and try the anejo, too. I like my tequilas simple, and this one is fairly simple, but there is a taste in this repo that I don't care for.
