I'm a tequila noob and thought a review of this Patron liqueur would be a good any to get started.
I remember my first taste of this - I love coffee and was blown away by the alcoholic caffeine hit. That was the high water mark; now I am appalled by how sweet it tastes. It's thick, sickly and oily, even when ice cold. Must admit that it can be a guilty pleasure style ending to an evening when inebriated but it's hard to recommend. The Incendio version - with chocolate and chili - is much better. Love the frosted bottle too.
