My bottles were marked as 100 % agave. NOM 1102. It sure smelled of it. I bought 3 750 ml bottles for $19 total in Cozumel last week. Are they giving this away ? Not as smooth as higher priced brands, but I can sip this reposado. A little peppery at the end. Certainly better than most low end tequilas. I don't think I have seen this in my local store.
I had a sample and was really surprised. I thought it might be a switcheroo. Nope, the bottle I opened was what I had tasted. Just over $6 for a sipping tequila.
Try it out.

I believe there are 2 different versions of this resposado, one is a 100% agave tequila and the other is a mixto.
The one I have is the mixto, it does not say anywhere "100% agave".
Surprisingly excellent for a mixto, but falls short of being a good tequila obviously. It's a little bit syrupy in body but it mixes well, drinks pretty well neat and makes for an all-around decent cheap tequila. If you're going to get a budget mixto, this is miles better than cuervo gold or whatever paint thinner junk... and at $15/bottle it's tough to beat.

Tequila Sauza 100 Anos Reposado, NOM 1102. I think there are two types of this tequila because the one I purchased claims to be "100% Puro de Agave." It says it no less than four times total on both the packaging & the bottle. The color is medium/light amber, darker than most other reposados. This tequila has an agave/citrus nose with slight alcohol overtones. The first taste is oakey with a nice spicy warm glow & a light sweetness. The overall taste is medium to full bodied that finishes open, lingering on the palate for some time. It is also smooth, not quite as smooth as it's more expensive counterparts however for $17.99 a bottle with a complimentary glass, what more can you expect? As far as a Sauza tequila is concerned, this is certainly as good or better than Hornitos, in my humble opinion. Drinks more like an anejo than a reposado. Very pleasantly surprised.
