Default Putting the Tiki in Voodoo Tiki Tequila

Ever wonder how they put the Tiki head inside a Voodoo Tiki Tequila bottle?

Are they saying that is the process for each and every bottle? Hard to believe.

I have both the silver and repo on my tequila bar menu. IMHO, the silver is a very nice tequila...lots of agave with a nice smooth yet peppery mouthfeel and finish. The repo is nice quality juice as well, however, I didn't rate it as high as other repos in it's price range. Although I do not own a bottle of the anejo, I have sampled it at a local tequila bar. IMO, it to is a very nice tequila but the price tag ($69-$79 in my area) doesn't make me want to run out and purchase a bottle anytime soon. Especially when other quality anejos like CNA, FEA, ETA are all readily available for less $$$. I will say that the glass blowing craftmanship that goes into making one of the Voodoo bottles is quite immpressive and they display very nicely in a lighted glass cabinet behind my bar! Maybe if I hit the lottery I'll not only pick up a bottle of the anejo, but a bottle of the newly released Voodoo XA for a grand$$$!

Very good video. I have a bottle of the blanco from a month or so ago. I have to say that the tiki in the bottle was part of my purchase. I do think that some tequila companies have very unique craftmenship in the bottles. This is one of my favorites and now after seeing the process first hand...I'm a bit amazed.

I still haven't tried this tequila yet, but a local bar in Fort Myers, Fl. where we're going on vacation in a few days features it and I'll be sampling it when I get there. Their website says it's $6 for the blanco, $7 for the repo, $8 for the anejo straight up. I'll start with the anejo and work my way backwards .

I tried a bottle of the Anejo and thought it was pretty good and would drink it again if it was available here.
