Jose Cuervo La Reserva Anejo Tequila is taking a huge price increase. Now, when I say “huge” I mean HUGE!!!!! My distributor is raising the wholesale cost by 60%, which means the new retail price is going to be at least $130/bottle. I will be adjusting the price next week, but before I do that I’m going to put it on sale. For this weekend and this weekend only, I’m going to put Jose Cuervo La Reserva Anejo Tequila on sale for $79.99/bottle. Take advantage while you can!

Yep - Hard to understand that big of an increase, but the bottles I ordered from Shoppers were actually the 2010 bottles - they must have sold out of the 2009 bottles. I scrambled a bit to buy some of the 2009 bottles at the old prices and am very happy to have gotten some of the 2010 - which I haven't seen out anywhere as of yet.

Certainly can and I did over the weekend - and had to add a few other bottles to justify the trip. What they had was the 2009. I am thinking that the price increase impacts the 2010, but am not sure. Often retailers will increase prices on current stock when a price increase has been announced to squeeze a few more bucks of out the consumer.
