Bob Emmons Tequila Tasting

On Thursday, May 3, 2007, between the hours of 7pm and 9pm a tasting and instruction on tequila will be held at "Los Cabos Mexican Restaurant" at 8570 Auburn Folsom Road cross street Douglas Blvd. in Granite Bay.

Bob Emmons, author of "The Book of Tequila" and other books on distilled spirits will conduct the class and explain all the ins and outs of understanding the differences between the types of tequila due to differing mixtures of sugars and age designations.

If you would like to learn about Tequila and enjoy a memorable, fun evening just before "Cinco de Mayo," please attend the class and bring your friends and love ones. Must be over 21 years of age to attend. The cost of the class is $45 in advance and $50 at the door. I will be attending this event. I have been wanting to meet Bob Emmons for a while now. I am very excited and believe that this event was worth missing the Big LA event. Even though I have to miss a chance to hang out again with the wonderful people at Oro de Jalisco tequila. Ozzie and Jose are great people, but Bob Emmons rarely does tequila tastings these days.

you're so lucky joe, maybe i'll get in contact with bob, to see, if he would intrested in teaching a class here in dallas, he might be intrested in the offer, just got to get people and a place, i'm gonna try to work on that.

I think it cannot hurt to try. All his information is already provided. I would definitely try to get him. Do you have his book? I finally got a copy and have just begun to read it. Out of all the tequila books I have, I would say that his is the most comprehensive thus far.
