Default Tequila Trip 2009

All

I have the pricing information for the 2009 Tour. We will be spending the first several days in Tequila and then be moving on to the highlands. We will also have a post trip relaxation in Puerto Vallarta (Extra Cost) for those interested.

March 28th - Hotel GDL
March 29th - Depart Hotel in GDL in AM for Tequila
March 30th - Tequila
March 31st - Tequila
April 1st - Highlands
April 2nd - Highlands
April 3rd - Highlands
April 4th - GDL

When you see the price, please keep in mind the following:
* Because of last year, we will be using a different transportation company. While we did comparison shop the transportation costs are higher. Please keep in mind that you are being transported the ENTIRE week and can drink to your hearts delight. Many can tell of the fun we have on the bus each year.
* Hotel prices increased

Also, unlike years in the past, I will not be adjusting the price for each and every person. The planning of the trip is difficult enough, I don't have the bandwidth to figure out and track what each person owes and has paid. This applies to transportation especially. If you are arriving on the trip late or leaving early, we can speak specifics in privately regarding situation.

The total cost for one person this year is $700.
This does not include airfare or transportation from/to the airport. It also does not include meals persay. However, we visit two distilleries a day. Most of our great hosts provide some sort of food/beverage out of hospitality. In the past. Depending on your eatting patterns, your cost may vary. Andrew and I spend probably another $50 bucks on food.

The total cost for a couple this year is $950

We will be keeping our group small again this year, no more than 30 people. This is for comfort on the bus as well as respect to the distilleries, and keeping everyone in the same hotels in each town.

You can send a check directly to me, or you can pay through Paypal if you would like. IF you pay through Paypal and with a credit card, please add enough money to cover the charges.

Acceptance is based on approval (don't worry, we have out list of no's). You do not have a spot until you have paid. The amount is due in full by March 1st. At least 50% is due by Febuary 1st. After Febuary 1st, the amount is due in full.

This is not a typical tequila tour. This tour will provide you access directly to distillery owners and to distilleries that aren't typically accessible. They go to great lengths to welcome us to their properties. Timelines are firm and WILL be adhered to. As the planner, I am privy to information that distilleries would like to keep a secret, in an effort to suprise you all!

Please contact me directly for my address or paypal address.

I look forward to seeing you all this year!!!

More details to come on the Post PV trip. Depending on the number of people who attend, we may rent a friends (and forum member) beachhouse. For more details, please PM me and I will give you the web address. TRUELY an experience!

Regards

We already have commitments from German Gonzalez, Fortaleza, Don Valente, Cofradia, Partida, Siete Leguas, and El Tesoro, and Cuervo Mundo. We are working on a number of other great visits this year as well!

I really want to go but I just don't think I can pull off this expense this early in the year especially after I paid my ridiculous property taxes, I'm aiming on taking a trip down in August or October.

Maybe we should all head to Washington and see if we can get some Tequila Tour bailout money.

After hearing all of those stories from past years I'm tired of missing out, so I'm in.

Tough for both of us to get away for that amount of time, so I am going solo. Rachel had mentioned that Mark may come, but hasn't committed just yet.

I'm looking forward to it.
