Default Any good spots in Philly?

I am heading to Philly tomorrow for the weekend with the wife to visit family. Anyone know of any good spots to go for drinks, and wide tequila selection?

Also any good stores for bottle purchase would be helpful.

Thanks

As for liquor stores, we are state-owned, and the selection for just about anything, especially tequila, really sucks.

In the city, there is a restaurant called Tequilas, on 16th and Locust. Really helpful staff, and a pretty extensive list.

However, drinking there can be pretty pricey, let alone eating (happens to be in that part of town). That isn't to say that it isn't worth it, but be prepared to drop some coin.

i saw the website for that place. Seemed like it was a decent spot. I forgot PA was state owned. Been awhile since I have been down there.

thanks

I would also recommend Tequilas Restaurant in Philly. It has been awhile since I have eaten ther however just last Sunday a good friend of mine who was travelling in the area had a great meal there. He said the food was outstanding and the tequila selction extensive. IMO, it is not really anymore expensive than most metro areas. Go to Tequilas Restaurant - Authentic Mexican Cuisine - Since 1986 to check out the menu, etc. If you do go let us know what you think!
