Ok my first online order day is here...Curious on thoughts from the pros

Ok, I have gone to 2 sites and have decided to try and get my wife a good blanco to share with my stepfather who is partial to blanco because of the trueness of it.

I was thinking about getting a bottle of El Don de la Familia for her to try, but have been reading and see alot of references to Los Abuelos Tequila (tequila crack..lol) as being a favorite of people around these parts. I do have to buy a couple bottles of Zaya Rum since thats her favorite and the distributors here are out (not to mention its almost half the price). I was looking to add a 50ml of AsomBroso as well for her to try and would like to stick around the $100 dollar range overall.

Or one other route I was thinking about is just getting the tequila and getting a bottle of El Viejo maybe to try, but was thinking thats not quite as cost effective.

So after reading through all this babble which would you reccomend as a first blanco.

El Don de la Familia or this Los Abuelos. Or as a left field approach screw the rum and get El Gran Viejo Anejo...lol

Please help a selection challenged newbie.

Los Abuelos / La Fortaleza (US name) would be the way to go in my opinion...

I say go for the crack!  I mean Fortaleza/Los Abeulos Blanco.

Never had the Don Blanco, but you can't get much more true then the FORT! IMHO

ive never tried El Don, but I swear by Los Abuelos.

Like alot of people on here, I have been to their distillery, met their owner, seen there practice. It's a great line of tequila. THeir blanco is amazing and not harsh at all.

In my humble opinion, try the Los Abuelos. I always manage to make sure I have a bottle of it at home. Jeez, their reposados and anejos are amazing too.

Wichie said it right. Cant get much more true of a blanco then Fortaleza. Its in my top two.... And has been for as long as I found it.

Come to think of it, I need to walk down to Malo and savor one, thanks alot!
