Default Casa Noble 1994 Talavera vs penca Azul anejo

Two tequila friends are wanting to trade a few bottles...how do these compare in value? We both want to be fair but neither of us is willing to insult the other with an offer. A little help if you please. The Talavera bottles are the first CN 1994/1995 bottles and these never made it to the package store and the Penca Azuls are also somewhat rare as they only made 247 bottles for the "Salty Senorita" in AZ. Thanks for your input.

IMHO the Talavera bottles are by far worth more then the Penca Azuls Saltys I have then both and would not take 3 PA saltys for my Talavera. Just my two cents

Having never tasted either I can't argue with Wasi. In looking at Tequila Joes site it looks like Penca offered different limited editions of xtra-A sherrywoods in 2007 and 2009, who knows we may be due for some in 2011. But they aint making any more of those Talveras. I'd say whoever's got the Casa Noble has the upper hand in this negotiation!

If you are talking strictly economics... A couple of months ago on Ebay multiple bottles of the Talvera were going for +/- $250 a bottle. I read on the blue agave forum that some version of the Penca extra-anejo was available for $150 at a liquor store on the west coast. So if you are freinds wanting to make a deal, two to one might be fair or maybe the Penca plus a hundred.
