I've got the same problem, except that I only started six months ago! 25 bottles plus some 'stash'. Good news: I've got my girlfriend hooked as well, and she loves to go treasure hunting...and buy! Bad news: my neighbors are hooked, too, but they only like to drink mine; or maybe buy some cheap stuff. Oh well, the more we drink, the more new ones we can try!
JB: good to see you in chat last night on Lippy's show. |

My wife loves it, its actually gotten her to enjoy scotches and other brown liquors that she never did before. The hunt and exploring new stores is almost more fun than drinking it.
I've gotten some friends and my brother hooked (sent him minis of CN) hook line and sinker |

Before reaching the point where I could drink tequila straight, I never enjoyed bourbon, scotch, whiskey, etc. Now I am able to drink all of those, and actually savor the tastes that they offer. Of course I'll pick tequila over any of the aforementioned if given a choice...or unless the only tequila being offered is crap.
Yes, the 'chase' is almost as fun. I have found that the old, dusty stores in the older parts of town is where you find the treasures. The newer stores have the newer brands, and usually at lower prices, but I love to find an old box of Fina Estampa that is covered in dust. CN is an easy sell. Who wouldn't like that!?! |
