Default Most expensive Tequila?

So I'm looking at my recent tequila purchases, and I'm thinking damn thats a lot of money for a bottle of tequila! but really, to me, it's not anymore, and it got me wondering how much others have spent on tequila that they drink, and how much they have spent on a bottle they have collected and won't drink.

Here are the questions:
1.) Most you've spent on one bottle of tequila that has been or will be consumed in the near future, and what it is.

2.) Most you've spent on one bottle of tequila that will never be consumed (except maybe on your death bed), and what it is.

I'll go first.

1.) $109.00 (after shipping) Casa Noble Extra Anejo 7yr (from Park Ave liquors in NYC) After informing me that they were out of bottles 1-150, they informed me I would have bottles 151 and 152 the second they came in.

2.) $0.00 (someone left it at my place) I don't know the brand name off the top of my head (Gringos maybe?), but it's a 1.75l plastic bottle with some kind of mexican looking fellow with six-guns akimbo on it... I won't touch the stuff..
Note: any good tequila I buy, I will drink.

The most I've spent was $81 for DJ 1942 on a killer sale from Seth.
The most expensive juice I regularly buy is any of the line from Del Maguey. If I had $$$, that's probably all I would ever drink.

$100 (ea) for the Casa Noble 5 yr SB and 7yr SB (I have 2 of each).
So far I have yet to have a tequila that I think is worth more.

I have tried virtually all the main $300 bottles and though most are good ... very good ... not a single one is worth the cost. The only one I didn't like was the Cabo Uno, I wouldnt pay $50 for it, nm $200+.
The one I liked the most was the Partida Elegante .. but I still wouldnt drop $300+ on it.

And I don't buy Tequilas that I won't drink, for any reason. Having a tequila collection is self-defeating. It's a shame to see one of your favorite bottles disappear - and sometimes be irreplaceable - but if you don't drink it, then its not fulfilling its destiny.

I would say I agree with Jason. I don't buy any tequila that I wouldn't drink or consider drinking. That being said, I think my most expensive was probably Don Julio Real - which I think I got for about $250. I tried it and wasn't impressed for the cost and it sits in the back on my shelf.

Casa noble is pretty much my all around go to line! Love the 5 and 7 year SB, but prefer the 5year blends. Sad that I can't find them anymore. Casa noble, hear my prayer . Last night I sipped the CN reposado. Still impressed every time.
I do have a never released bottle of 3Amigos blanco that I'll break out some day when the spirit is upon me.
But give me CN of any variety and my day is complete!
