Default CN 5 year aged non-single barrel

Hello friends!
Anyone know of the best place to purchase the 5 year aged CN anejo that is the blend rather than single barrel? I came across the following and was wondering if that price sounds right:

Casa Noble Tequila Anejo (750ml)

The description says 5 year, but doesn't that seem a bit inexpensive for the five year? I emailed the company and they said to the best of their knowledge that it is, indeed the 5 year. But the picture doesn't show the usual gold painting on the bottle.

Anyone?

Gracias,
Señor Garret

The bottle pictured is the 2 yr bottle, the price is around what the 2yr goes for, but a little high. but that is consistant with that company.

The non-SB 5yr should run no less than $85, usually over a $100 now that it is permanantly out of production (per Pepe Hermosillo)

I'm guessing they just used the old description for the new product.

It's a shame because the non-SB 5yr is my favorite tequila, hands down. I like it better than either the 5yr or 7yr SB options. Those are are both extremely good, but the old 5yr extra anejo is still my fave.

My guess is that they have not updated their website... CN used to offer three versions: Crystal, Repo (364-day rest) and FIVE-year anejo... then they changed it to C, R and 2Y-Anejo.

Thanks guys, that is what I figured, too. Jason, my favorite is also 5year blend!!! I have one pour left in my last bottle of it as of tonight and it makes me sad that I won't be able to get it anymore.

If anyone finds it or knows where there are a few bottles available online, please with a cherry on top, let Jason and I know. Just make sure you tell me first

Hey Garret.....it's been awhile since I have seen any of these old skool 5 yrs. around but.....if my (fading) memory serves me correct, I can (vaugely) remember seeing a couple of these bottles floating around here in a few stores locally. I remember them being very pricey....maybe $80 to $100?? Anyway I have a few ozs. left in my bottle (pictured is the 5 yr. Wilson Daniels 100% agave azul "special reserve") and can remember leaving the others on the shelves due to the tough economic times. If you want, I will take a look the next time I pass by the store(s). They may be already gone but who knows, right? If that is the CN bottle you are interested let me know with a PM. OBTW....once again....weren't you supposed to come to the Sunshine State to visit the in-laws? I could always steer you in the right direction and even assist you with a tasting??

Jim!!!
Yes, that is exactly the bottle that I am looking for!! Can't find it anywhere. I really prefer the blends that they made with the 5 year stuff. Trust me, I totally dig the SB stuff, but there is something so special to me about their skillful blending. Maybe they don't want to take the time to do that anymore, I don't know, but I'm a bit sad about it.

And yes, we are still contemplating a January trip to your neck of the woods. I am currently in the middle of taking at least a month off from massage due to a herniated disc in my neck. Sucks. But if I keep up with all my protocols, I can whip this thing back into place and not suffer further and have to have surgery. No thanks to the knife! And the $80,000 bill.

So, thank goodness for a growing tea business and the Far-infrared saunas are also selling well, so I should be ok even without a month or more of my massage income.

You will be the first person to know if we do decide to make the trip - count on it!! Well, I guess we'd actually be the first people to know, but I digress.

Anyway, if you happen to spot any of those bottles let me know. I can paypal money or send money order to you straight away! Thanks for thinking of me.

Soon,
Garret

Ok Garret the next time I am in the vicinity of the stores that I believe I saw them in, I will check into it. If I see one I will pick one up for you and will PM you with details. Hope your neck is feeling better and you and the wife can stop by for a Poolside Tequila Bar visit in January. Keep me posted!
