Default 100% agave or not?/el jim

Hello evryone..

i got a bottle jimador and therefore.. a question..
my bottle is..
well..
the old one: somewhat square, black lid,
smaller than the versions im finding now (eg el Jimador Tequila)..

whats more: no "100% de agave" notice on the label..

now does this mean:
old-
no 100% agave ingredients
vs.
new-
suddenly 100% / new product and design / same price (strange?)
?
or did they just change the design and forgot to mention
"100% agave" earlier (strange as well?) ?

well, thats keeping me up at night
thanks 4 ur incoming help !!

Any Chance of you providing a picture?

You have a lot of questions that can be answered in various ways and a picture could help with the correct response

If I remember correctly El Jimador way back was originally 100%, then it went to a mixto when the agave shortages began. I think it was last year or the year before that it went back to being a 100% blue agave (no more agave shortage).

Even without the photo it sounds like you have an older mixto bottle. All of the retail stores are trying to get rid of their mixto inventory.....usually selling it for the same price as the newer 100% line just hoping that someone who doesn't know much about tequila will pick one up for that price.

Default seems about right..

thx 4 ur answers..

yeah, seems like i got a bottle from the old stock..

trying to get rid of them
and quietly selling without telling the difference
would explain, why i couldnt get any informations about the change of product..
"hey we give you old-stock-mix-tequila,
yet later we sell the 'new' (or very old) 100agave 4 the same.." doesnt sound so good

..so, agave shortages.. ..that explains it..

thx again
