Super Bowl Tequila?

I was asked this question earlier, "what should I sip for the Super Bowl"?

So if you are a Cardinal fan you should drink some Arizona based Tequila, 3 Amigos or Cruz del Sol.

If you are a Steelers fan, try some Siembra Azul. I know, Philly, but close enough.

I don't care who wins, so I will most likely sip something else...

I'll be sipping some Don Camillo anejo and some JCRDLF anejo as well. It's my last hoorah before I quit drinking, so I'm going out in style.

Most likely the standard DJ 1942, but it will depend on how I feel after Saturday nights poker game and the UFC fight with St. Pierre vs. Penn......which should be good night

Since the Super Bowl is almost being played in my backyard this year I plan on having a few close friends watch it at my home tequila bar. Couldn't even come close to watching it live. Ticket prices are inflated beyond belief! I have been working OT at work to stock up on the agave spirits which now is up to over 100 bottles. I'm not much of a bottle collector....I like to open them as I go along and taste them all with good friends! Maybe someday I will be in that tequila bottle collector's stratosphere! In the meantime, on the menu for Sunday will be fresh Pomegranate Margaritas and plenty of sipping of the good stuff....Penca Azul Blanco & Anejo, Casa Noble Blanco, Repo & Anejo, Tezon, El Jimador etc.......enjoy the game everyone!

This year we're trying something a little different I'm really not going for any particular team, but we are taking shots every time Polamalu either lays somebody out or has an interception, we will drinking a variety we have chosen Don Valente Silver for our Margarita's, Chinaco Reposado for the Polamalu shots and CNSB Anejo for the victory toast! We're definitely going to have a great time. Hope you guys enjoy the game, I just got back from the grocery store and picked up my 3-D glasses, I wonder after so much tequila if these glasses would make EVERYTHING 3-D?

I have Gran Centenario Anejo; this is for a celebrating after the game.

We also have JC Platino which I used 1 1/2 cups for some lime and orange layered jell-o shots. I know, not exactly everyones cup of tea in here but when you get a bunch of college drinkers over for a Super Bowl game, you want the atmosphere to be fun. Jell-o is fun!

I made some layered shots for the cardinals fans....Grenadine on bottom, Orange Juice in Middle, Vodka on top (Red, Yellow, Clear/White)

I made layered shots for steelers fans also. Blue Curaceao on Bottom, Grenadine on second layer, Orange juice on third layer, Vodka on top. (Blue, Red, Yellow, Clear)...I didnt want a black liquor in there, itd be yucky.

And for those interested in other things, I have Pendleton Whiskey and Bacardi Ron Solera Rum which isnt too bad, I prefer Pyrat.
