Corralejo Tequila Reposado Triple Distilled

Submitted by Tequila.net     February 13, 2007
Tasted in a Riedel tequila glass on 7-24-15. Nose is somewhat sharp but pleasant. Initial taste has a very sharp agave flavor with some oak but then mellows into a very smooth finish. First tequila I've tasted that has had this type of taste transition. The flavor consists mostly of cooked agave, wood/oak, vanilla, caramel, herbal notes and some earthy tones. The Corralejo line is one of my favorites and this one did not disappoint.
