Roaming Tequila Tasting
Our next out of town event will be on Sunday May 4th and will be a roaming tasting throughout the Sacramento and surrounding area. The event is limited to a maximum of 11 members and costs $60 per person. I will be renting a van and picking everyone up at their homes (or wherever they want to be picked up in the Sacramento and surrounding area) and dropping them off as well so no one has to worry about driving. The first pick up will be promptly at 1pm and the rest will depend upon who is coming and where they live. I expect the event to last the majority of the day and will mainly depend upon how much time the group wants to spend at each location.
Upon picking up all the attendees, we will go to 4 of my favorite tequila drinking locations. At each location, it will be up to you to purchase whatever you like and your selections are not included in the price of this event. I have chosen to do it this way because people will want to drink different tequilas at each stop. This brings up the point of Rewards Credit. I expect that on average, members will have approximately 6 tequilas on this outing so attending the event will get you 6 Rewards points. In addition to the tequila bars, if members want to go hunting, we can go to at least 1 or 2 stores for purchasing bottles.
At this point, you are probably wondering where your $60 per person is going. The money goes mainly towards the van and gas for the van. In addition, our last stop of the night will be at Zocalo where everyone will have some appetizers. Each person will also get to taste the Tapatio Family Reserve Extra Anejo at some point during the night. This product is only sold in extremely small numbers. Thus, this is an opportunity no one should pass up.
