Default Boston

Tried two differnet Tequila bars while in Boston.
First Tequila bar is "Rattle Snake" address: 384 Boylston St. Boston. Phone 617-859-8555
I was not impressed at all with this so called tequila bar. They had maybe 20 different types of Tequilas and they were mostly the generic stuff you would find anywhere.

Second place is called "Cottonwood" address: 222 Berkeley St. Boston. Phone 617-247-2225. Cottonwood has 50 plus Tequilas and had a few premiums Anejos. I enjoyed the tequila here, but thought the food was terrible and the service was lacking.

I'm curious to who sent you to Rattlesnake as it's not considered by locals as a place for tequila. I'm glad you enjoyed Cottonwood. They do have a decent selection but the bartenders tend be unenthusiastic about their offering.

I'm bummed that you didn't get to check out Masa. You were walking distance from the best Tequila bar in Boston:

Masa looks interesting. I couldnt find a tequila list, but in the photos their behind the bar display looked impressive. We'll have to check it out next time we're in town.
