I've had a few tequila cocktails in PV and I do not know the name of them and what else is in them. It was mixed with some Clamato, Maggie's seasoning, lime, grenadine, ice and I'm sure some more stuff. Has anyone had this before or know what the name of it is? Thanks.

Possibly a sangrita....
Sangrita 1 oz. Tequila 1 oz clamato juice Few drops Tabasco Sauce A dash Worcestershire Sauce Fill one shooter with Tequila. Take a second glass fill with clamato. Add a copule of drops of Tabasco and Worcestershire Sauce. Squeeze a lime. Sip Tequila and then sangrita. Not my particular favorite but they taste pretty good. Here are a few more methods... http://www.hawaiitravelnewsletter.co...s/sangrita.htm I hope this helps.

Thanks bn087 Ill try that. It had some sweetness to it from the grenadine. You'd like this. Its just hard to find in the US. In PV, some guy from Mexico City ordered it by name. So its I know it's not some local recipe. Thank you though.

Well I omitted some text since we weren't talking about the glassware.
(again from Ian Chadwick) Cabillito: "Little horse" or pony - the traditional tall drinking/shot glass for tequila, also called a tequillita. Has a flat bottom and wider mouth. Also the name for a cocktail using white tequila, grenadine syrup, orange juice, orange or lemon blossom water and crushed ice, consumed in the Federal District (Mexico City). |

I guess it does have mutiple meanings then.
Also from Ian's website: "Mezcal was initially served in a vessel know as a cuernito later called a caballito, made from the hollowed and cleaned tip of bull’s horn. The point of the horn made it impossible to rest the drink, and the limited supply of horns meant patrons had to share them, so they learned to drink and pass the horn to the next person. Later this point would be cut off, permitting the horn to be set down."
