Default Information on "Tequila Numero Uno"

I have an unopened bottle of Tequila Numero Uno and was wondering about the origin etc. I would appreciate anyone's input.

Thanks!

No. The bottle is square and the Tequila is dark.

Thank you.

Post a picture, that will possibly help with verifying the age and value.

Default bottle of unopened tequila

My wife was clearing out her Dad's house after he passed away and found a bottle of unopened tequila. The box it is in has a date of 1920 on it, but the bottle itself does not have a date. The tequila is amber in color. The lable has the following info: Tequila Numero Uno Especial Xtra Embotellado Y Garantizado. The bottle has the following info: Por Agudo Y Cisneros, S.A.

The bottle is out of state at the moment and I will not be able to send a photo until next week.

Anything anyone can tell me about my wife's find would be appreciated.

I know where another bottle of silver from about 1942 is. The bottle I have open is I think from the '30s- '40s also. Is this tequila still a current brand? I thought it was discontinued in the 60s-70s

No, not a current brand... nothing registered with the CRT anyway.

On a similar note, German Gonzalez, previous master distiller of Chinaco is launching his new brand T1 - Tequila Uno in a month or two in the US.
