Pick a nice, moderately priced anejo, something thats been in the wood awhile. He'll dig it since it definitely won't taste like Cuervo gold, maybe the Milagro SBR.

bn.....my advise would be to get your Dad a bottle of JD and some golf balls if that is what he likes. Then buy a bottle of tequila you like and take it over and let him have a taste.....win....win for everyone.
I have been down the road of buying things for my dad over the years that I liked.....that I thought he would like "Not" the gifts would just sit in a closet. Now I just get him what he likes......golf balls and a shirt. He really doesn't care what he gets, but at least I know he uses them. That's my two cents |

Dont forget the "soon-to-be's"....haha
I decided to get my dad a bottle of Cabrinet Savignon (SP?) - I know nothing about wines but he drinks Woodbridge and Yellow Tail; so I picked out something much nicer. I complimented that with Stubbs Steakhouse Marinade (which if any of you can get your hands on that; I would reccomend if you can find it)...also 5 Cigars and treating him to a one on one tasting tonight with 4 tequilas. This was his birthday and Fathers Day...so I think I did well...
