I am just getting back to trying Trquila after many years of Scotch and Light Rum. I got a chance to try Herencia and like the taste. Don't find much writin on it on this forum. Is it concidered a good one or what?

Couple of reviews on the brand (blanco and reposado) by Piña, that's all I've seen. I tried the lineup a couple of years ago at Chama, but I didn't write anything up.

Thanks for the information we are taking a cruise down to Mexico Rivera in a couple of weeks and would like to bring some good siping Tequila back with me.

Looks like for a resonable price this is a good one.

This is an excellent all around brand and a great bargin in Mexico. I myself like all three but have a soft spot for the Blanco. Give them all a try but coming from a Scotch back ground you may not be ready for the Blanco yet, But I am sure you will enjoy the Reposado as well.

Ya, I like their line. When I was in Guadalajara i found it everywhere. The same thing here in the states. Pretty easy to find. I too, have a soft spot for their blanco. A very decent tequila at a very decent price.

Salud!

Walked into the Jons market by my house this sat to pick up a nice, cheap and very tasty bottle of Sol Azul repo for $16.99.

THe thing I like about Jons market is u never know what they will have. A semi decent tequila selection, but always a surprise.

They now stock the herencia de plata line. The prices are amazing. The silver is $19.99, the repo is $24.99 and the anejo is $29.99. If I went down the street for a bottle of the silver at another liquor store that sells it (name politely with held) Id have to pay $31.49 for it! It always fascinates me, the whole price difference thing. Im sure it has alot to do with quantity.

Jons RULES! last time I was there they had Cofradia B-R-A from $20-27! they also have a great selection of Vodka. unfortunately, I work at BevMo and see a lot of diffetent vodka brands, but Jons blows them away.

Have fun in the Riviera dragster13. We'll be going in April. There's a great little tequilaria in Playa Del Carmen. I picked up 4 Copas anejo for $50, and Clase Azul Platino for $60. They have some pretty hard to find ones too, like Clase Azul Ultra. Email me if you haven't been down there yet, and I can give you some pointers from my experiences so far.
