Default Back from PV

I just got back from PV last week and brought back 12 bottles, but did not get one that Mr. Agave said he found while he was there. Mr. Agave, I could not find the corner tequila bar and cigar store that carried The Reserva De Los Gonzales. I have my brother going to PV in January and I was wondering if you had an address for the place. I searched all over the Malecon and asked a lot of people and no one had any idea where it was, so if you have any more info, I would really appreciate it.

The exact name is "The Tequila Corner and Cigar Club". I'm sorry I don't have an address, ask a cabbie, they should know where to find it.

I am leaving on the 29th of this month to PV. Where did you go for your bottles? Anything good?
All I can remember is passing the park and then walking up a side street. I think it was the Amate store and it was on a corner. After that we just walked the side streets and found little liquor stores

By any chance did you come across a Revelucion Copper bottle? I told TJ that I would look for one while I was there.

Trayce at HiTime can supposedly get them, he has to order them, but last I talked to him all three of the high-end revolucion bottles were available.

I talked to my daughter and son-in-law and they kind of remember the store being around two blocks up the Malecon. All I know is that I asked about three cab drivers, a bank teller, a traffic cop, and various shop owners and no one had a clue. Mr. Agave, do you remember the general area where it was at?
The bottles I brought back were: Tres Mujeres R, Gran Centenario A, Mexicanissimo R, Herencia De Plata B, Pueblo Viejo Azul A, 7 Leguas R, Centinela R, El Gran Viejo A, Esperanto A, Arette Suave B, Arette Suave Gran Clase 3 yr. A, and one more I can't remember. My two favorites are the two Arettes they were both very good, especially the Gran Clase.
Blagave, I got my bottles at two places, one was La Playa liquor store. I am told that there are several of these in PV, the one I bought them from was on Calle Morelos, I believe it was one block up from the Malecon. The better tequilas I purchased at Casa de Tequila/Agave Grill which was also on Calle Morelos. They were really helpful and I was able to taste quite a few of there better tequilas. Francisco is the manager, and he was great, they also have really good food there. I did not see the Cooper Revolucion bottle you were asking about, sorry.

Thanks for the information on where to look for Tequila. I will try and hit the stores you and Mr Agave have mentioned.
It sounds like you had a pretty good haul with all the bottles you purchased.

So I'm looking at a map of old town PV, and I think if you walk the Malecon south, over the bridge into the Zona Romantica, I believe it is over there. I would guess around Constitucion and Basilio Badillo. I have it written in my review book, but I obviously forgot to record the address or streets. I also remember it being somehow integrated with a resort, where the resort is taking up that block, and it is one of the retail stores on the ground level, with it's own entrance, and it is on the corner, so don't waste your time looking mid-block.
