Default LOVE this tequila!

I had never been a huge tequila person but my friend made me try this new tequila called Wildshot Mezcal the other night and it changed my mind. Has anyone else tried it yet? Apparently its Toby Keith's brand and its kinda unique in that it has a worm in the bottom. I agreed to drink tequila for a night if she would eat the worm!

I haven't tried this one yet.

Wildshot is Mezcal, not Tequila. Some Tequilas can be considered Mezcal, but not the other way around. Tequilas do not contain a worm, not any regulated Tequilas anyway... con Gusano is Mezcal specific.

I tried some Wildshot one night because it was offered to me for free. It burned liked hell and tasted nasty. I think you guys are right that this is a cheap (free) marketing ploy. Sadly, I live in Nashville where this likely originated. My apologies to the tnet community on behalf of my otherwise fair city, and don't anyone waste their money on Wildshot.
