Default Searching for a brand name of a tequila

Hello to all.

Your assistance in finding a tequila brand is requested.

Many years ago, I was given a bottle of special tequila.

I was told the tequila was of the very finest presentation grade.

I remember the tequila tasted like fine brandy.

I remember was that the tequila was said to have been aged in almond wood barrels.

The brand name was I believe was Almondine.

The label had two or three males wearing very wide brimmed German style hats.

Thank You.

I believe that you may be referring to Orendain's "Crema de Almendrado" which is a blend of tequila and almond essence. This is typically a very inexpensive spirit and is 30% alc. It is usually served as an after dinner drink or with dessert. You could also use it as a mixer for certain cocktails calling for an almond type liquer. It is however NOT a 100% de agave product. The attached photo sounds like the bottle that you are describing. I was given a bottle of this as gift fron a friend who picked it up in Mexico. He thought that he was bringing me back a bottle of nice tequila! I accepted it graciously. I will tell you that my palate does not pick up anything close to a "fine brandy" but if your palate does then....SALUD!
