El Mayor XA

So, I see this online at Ramirez and am planning on putting in an order in the not too distant futue, but end up coming across it at a store in NYC for 80, done & done!

El mayor was my first true love when I was introduced to the world of Tequila outside of jc, lime, salt, embarrasment and figuring out how to get home from wherever the hell you are the next day. It a whole new experience when you go from wanting a chaser to wanting the aftertast to never end...

It comes with a nice case, bottle stopper and even a little El mayor dog tag.

Has anyone else had any of this? I'm not too sure I'll be able to make it through the night with out a taste.

I have all three offerings of El Mayor at my bar. IMHO they are all nice tequilas with the blanco being the better of the three. The anejo is okay but it just seems to lack some of the qualities I pefer in an anejo....mainly a nice smokey flavor with agave that still stands out. Perhaps the XA will fall into that category with the additional aging? Let us know what you think!
