Angry Do distilleries ever answer email???

Has this happened to you? In the last few months I've contacted three different distilleries via their websites to ask them product questions. I have not received answers from any of them. What's up with that? Just rude? The three are Asombroso, El Viejito, and Arette. I don't get it. I always start out by saying how much I enjoy their tequila and I still get no answers back.

Generally, no. Email is still not the way business is done in Mexico. Frustrating? Yes. You'll have much better luck with a phone call. I know that Arette and El Viejito are very friendly. Good luck.

I've gotten no responses from a many but several have kindly replied sometimes even by the owners. Some experiences of reply's I've received are Del Maguey, Vida, Crotalo, El Tesoro, Partida, and Don Modesto, with Del Maguey being super helpful. Sometimes they are just not that email/internet connected with their sites which have been put up for advertizement and some information. Try going through a vendor that sells their products. Sometimes I have gotten through that way. Once I got in touch through a tip from Hi-Time with Penca Azul and was able to pick up a rare bottle I was looking for. I don't mind the no replies and give them the benefit of doubt. I'd rather they be spending time producing some great juice!
