Partida tequila being closed out in WA state 12/1/2010

You may or may not know this but WSLCB has de-listed the Partida line of tequilas due to insufficient sales in WA State stores. As consumers this means this fine brand will no longer be available for purchase. The good news out of all this is that starting Dec. 1st in order to clear out remaining inventory the price of the Anejo will be $36.95 and the Blanco $29.95 until stock is depleted. Currently it is listed at $54.95 and $49.95.

Although not de-listed yet and currently selling for more than the Anejo, I have heard that the Reposado will soon suffer the same fate.

I had a liquor rep in Seattle tell me all 3 will be de-listed. But he was not the Partida rep, so who knows.

My pleasure. I just picked up 3 bottles of the Blanco at the 2 Everett stores that had stock. While I was at the Silverlake store I noticed that the Solo Blanco which was de-listed a couple of months ago was selling for 23.95. Scored a couple of those as well.

I LIKE the Solo blanco. I've bought (and drank) the last few bottles that the local store had.
