I hadn't heard this, but it sucks if it's true.

I would say wait for reliable sources and as we learn in school check the sources. If they cant give one take it with a grain of salt. I have nothing against this website and am not trying to discredit them. I personally cannot confirm or deny this (and it is for the parties involved to release that info) but will say this is somewhat different from things we have been told. I have already told them on facebook they should wait for the press release with all the info before they jump to conclusions and I would recommend that here as well.

I think the details of what he sold and what he kept is the only thing that's left to come out and yes it looks like we'll have to wait for that

I am curious TJoe- Why are you so concerned with the info not being accurate?

Chingale!!!! It's true. Another favourite swallowed up by the mega-marketers.
El Tesoro
Hey Seth - any deals??... for those of us who want to preserve a classic?

Still new around here so I might be confused. I thought Beam Global has owned El Tesoro for a few years now? If you look at the wayback machine on El Tesoro's site they have the Beam Global tag on it as far back as Feb 2006.

http://web.archive.org/web/200704052...pa/?lparefer=/

And here's a 2008 news blurb that mentions they are owned by Beam Global in 2008.

Beam Global Spirits & Wine Inc’s Brands package design – POPSOP.COM. Brand news. Brand design. Package design. Branding agencies. Brand experts

Maybe they are moving the distillery?

Thanks,

Nathan

Like I said, I am not saying it is or is not accurate. I am saying that some of what is written is different than what I was told. Like usual, I am just suprised at how fast people react to what is clearly posted as a rumor and cannot post the source. On facebook one person was even bashing Carlos and saying he has no respect over what people are writing. It started as one thing and has been evolving like the telephone game we played as kids into something else. Thus, was just reminding people that nothing official has been said so until then I cannot say what is accurate or unacurate.
