I was so impressed. TO me, the most important part of a reposado or anejo is not to lose the flavor of agave to the wood. I feel like the wood should compliment the agave, not the other way around. Fulano comes through with shining colors! Aroma: Floral and Earth Initial taste: spicy bitterness Body: AGAVE, AGAVE, AGAVE, subtle hints of vanilla, spice, earth, and wood Finish: Smooth as silk with medium duration ]]> Thu, 01 May 2008 13:24:15 +0000 <![CDATA[Don Fulano Tequila Reposado: ]]> https://www.tequila.net/tequila-reviews/reposados/discussions/review.html?id=245 https://www.tequila.net/tequila-reviews/reposados/discussions/review.html?id=245 Don Fulano Reposado ? NOM 1146 ? Tasted on 4/20/07 at 4:53pm. I tried this tequila, which cost me $12, at Zocalo and tasted it in a snifter glass. This tequilas quality versus price was above average. With a yellow golden color, this tequila has intense aromas of floral and earth. Other aromas include moderate fruit and smoke with mild spice. The tequila has an oily mouth feel and on the first sip is sweet with a hint of bitterness. Don Fulano Reposado has numerous arrays of flavors due to its 8 months of aging. Intense aromas of floral are followed by moderate notes of agave and earth. With a medium duration of flavor, tastes of mild fruit with hints of spice and smoke bring this tequila to a numbing finish. Don Fulano Reposado has received the rating of 93 points out of 100. ]]> Sun, 17 Jun 2007 19:58:35 +0000
