It's from NOM 1506, but has switched to NOM 1479 and there are no current brands listed at 1506 in the NOM database. Depending on the taste, it might be treasure...or it might be shuttered for a reason. Price: $30-40/bottle Aroma: Sweet cooked agave with really strong floral notes. Initial Taste: Similar to the nose. Hints of caramel as well. The floral notes are noteworthy. Body: It's a medium body with a nice oily texture. The floral notes and still there with hints of wood. It's a really unique flavor. Almost perfum-like and this tequila makes it work. Finish: There's perfume and pepper on the finish with hints of caramel and oak. Again, very unique, but also quite suave (not just a clever name). The linger last quite a while too. After sipping this one and the aƱejo from this line, I wish there was more out there from the distillery to compare it to. Tasty, unique, nice packaging and well priced. It is/was the total package. A solid B+ tequila at under $40 is good in my book. If you can find it, I'd recommend picking it up because it's not being made anymore and it's probably unlike anything else in your collection. ]]> Fri, 07 Feb 2014 00:29:13 +0000
