Flavor is mild. Slight floral smell. Above average tequila, but lacks that wow quality. My particular bottle had a dried out cork that crumbled into the tequila. Still, I would drink it again.

Nothing especially notable, but all of the flavors that you'd expect from something well aged.

Aroma: Nice aroma of vanilla, wood, ripe fruit and agave.
Initial Taste: Nice combo of vanilla and agave with hint of brown spice.
Body: Oak and agave mix well with a light fruit flavor. Light body for an anejo.
Finish: Simple and pleasant finish. Not a long linger at all. Just oak, fruit and spice. Not overly smooth, but smooth enough for $21.

Purchased for $21 online. I've seen it over $30 and at that price, there's better out there, but since Milagro is widely available, if you can find it for under $25, it's a very good buy.

To be perfectly honest, I don't like this anejo. Throughout most of the tasting there was a constant slight bitterness. Not too smooth for an anejo in my opinion. So far, in my experience, I just don't seem to favor the triple distilled products.

Aroma: A present nose of fruit and vanilla.
Initial Taste: A semi bitter entry, it was also sweet with the initial taste being fruit.
Body: A decent body consisting of agave, with hints of fruit, caramel, and smoke.
Finish: A semi heated finish of short duration with a lingering taste of fruit.

Tasting after a large meal and desert.

Milagro Anejo

Color: light golden
Aroma: slight wood & vanilla
Taste: wood on fire with a medium mouthfeel having a lightness around it. Finished with a fiery burn

For anejos I would much rather drink either the Sol Azul, Casa Noble or Don Julio 1942. My current top three anejo picks as of the writing of this review. The Milagro Anejo is good but very hot for an anejo and I had to keep taking breaks to cool the fire in my mouth as I sipped.

With a yellow color, Milagro Anejo has intense aromas of floral and moderate fruit scents. Less apparent are mild vanilla, earth, and caramel aromas. Upon initial taste, the tequila has a thin, oily mouth feel and is soft and mellow on the tip of the tongue. Moderate flavors of floral, agave, and fruit accents are followed by mild earth, vanilla, and caramel flavors. The finish consists of almost no alcohol intensity and a short duration of flavor. I rate this tequila at the B range.
