My wife and I went for the first time last weekend and were overwhelmed by the selection of agave products. One of the girls behind the counter said they have over 400 varieties, and another corrected her saying, Oh no it's over 700 now. Whatever the count, I've never seen so many in one store. The prices are very good, too. The only drawback is that almost all the bottles are behind the counter, so no fondling. You either have to just look or ask the knowledgeable staff. There's also an amazing beer selection, as well as a smaller selection of other spirits. I love this place. ]]> Wed, 16 Jun 2010 22:24:55 +0000 <![CDATA[Ramirez Liquor: ]]> https://www.tequila.net/tequila-liquor-stores/united-states/discussions/review.html?id=562 https://www.tequila.net/tequila-liquor-stores/united-states/discussions/review.html?id=562 Just visited for first time. Huge tequila selection with very decent prices and a friendly staff. And I only live 4 miles away! ]]> Mon, 14 Apr 2008 13:29:40 +0000 <![CDATA[Ramirez Liquor: ]]> https://www.tequila.net/tequila-liquor-stores/united-states/discussions/review.html?id=289 https://www.tequila.net/tequila-liquor-stores/united-states/discussions/review.html?id=289 I was hoping to keep this place a secret because they have some rare bottles. When I visited them I wanted to buy half the store. Prices were give and take, some were extremely cheap and some were over priced. However, when it comes to rare bottles that is to be expected. The only bad issue with this place is that with there huge display cases it is easy to miss bottles because they are all over the place. This could be part of the reason for the rare bottles so in a way it could be a good thing as well. Overall, Ramirez Liquor is a must see if you are ever in the LA area. ]]> Fri, 03 Aug 2007 14:12:48 +0000 <![CDATA[Ramirez Liquor: ]]> https://www.tequila.net/tequila-liquor-stores/united-states/discussions/review.html?id=261 https://www.tequila.net/tequila-liquor-stores/united-states/discussions/review.html?id=261 For the greater Los Angeles area this is my favorite place to find the bottles of tequila that my suppliers cannot get to me. The staff is knowledgeable, but I feel bad because they haven't tasted everything on the shelves. With that in mind they have their favorites, but they are limited to what has been tasted. A few of the latest items that I found there were the 1921 crema, Arette 'suave' silver, cans of flavored pulque and Sotol. If you live in Los Angeles this is a must place to visit. oh and they have the old label Herradura too, which brings back those fond memories of getting drunk way back in High School ]]> Fri, 13 Jul 2007 11:26:52 +0000
