This post will eventually end up in the events section, but it is offered to TEQUILA.net members first before being made available to the public. Juan Carlos Elias, director of the Las Vegas Tequila Fest has sent me tickets for his event in September, the 12th and 13th (Friday and Saturday) that are available to all of you. I have 50 tickets for each day, so please let me know if you are thinking about going and I will set tickets aside for you. The LV Tequila Fest is an invite only event.This year the event will be at the Amazon Room, in the RIO All Suite Hotel and Casino. Juan is also offering to share his room rates for the event, which is 149.00 plus tax per night. This rate is made available through ADA Travel at 1.800.232.8790. For more information regarding this event, visit http://www.lasvegastequilafest.comI will try to post more information as it becomes available, brands attending, seminars, etc. As more people signup we can also plan a few extra meals or get-togethers at other tequila bars in Vegas. |

Just out of curiosity...I've never been to Vegas. I see you can get room rates for 149.99 discounted because of the tequilafest. 300 bucks doesnt sound bad but what would it cost for 2 people to fly up there for the 2 days, eat...etc. It seems like it would add up to a very expencive trip but its one I would save for!

The tickets are free guys (and gals), so if you can make it out there it would be great for all of us to hang out and do a tasting or something while we're there. TJ and I are discussing options and we will come up with some great ideas.

Oh man!!! I just got word from my wife, that her boss has a condo in Vegas, and wants to let us use it to stay there while we are there...Sweet! Just leaves us a couple bucks for 'dem gamblin machines.

Send me pictures guys and I will at least toast a glass from my home that night you guys are enjoying the LV expirience. Next year money will be more relaxed around my house as in 2 months I will finally have my Real Estate license (woohoo). I cant wait to attend some events with yall.

I wish I could go, but I just checked airfare and it would be about a grand for the wife and myself  . If we weren't already going on vacation this year I maybe could have extended our stay and made this our vacation. Oh well, maybe some day. I wish they would hold some of those tastings here on the east cost so I could drive and save on airfare.  |
