Reserva de los Gonzalez Reposado NOM 1518 Tasted 8/6/07. On this date I tried this tequila at a tasting at Zocalo using a snifter. This tequila is a yellow golden color and has intense aromas of fruit and floral. There are also moderate aromas of spice followed by mild earth and vanilla. A soft taste leads to a low amount of sweetness with no bitterness. The Reposado flavor contains intense agave and floral flavors with moderate wood, fruit, and spice. The tequila also has mild earth, vanilla, and smoke. Gonzalez Reposado finishes with a long duration of flavor and a numbing alcohol feeling. This tequila has been awarded the overall rating of 90/91 points out of 100.
