MuchoTE Tequila Reposado

MuchoTE Tequila is made from hand selected 100% blue Tequilana Weber Agave, grown in the fields of Don Feliciano Vivanco, a third generation Agave farmer.

MuchoTE Tequila Reposado is then aged in small charred American bourbon casks (190 liters) for at least 7 months, which impart the full flavor and golden color to the Tequila. Finally, MuchoTE Tequila is selected by a tasting panel, to ensure the aroma and flavor are correct.

MuchoTE Tequila is handmade every step of the way by passionate people, not machines. Our mission is to bring you excellent Tequila at an exceptional price.

This Reposado is golden with yellow hues, thick, long legs, with aromas full of agave, orange and cherry. Initial cooked agave flavor turning mildly hot, with a taste of wood and smoked fruit, hints of vanilla, a warm finish, and spicy orange / cinnamon aftertaste.

Excellent Reposado for under $30!

Tasted out of a snifter. With a light golden hue, this reposado is a pure reposado. It doesnt lean towards a blanco OR an anejo. For the price, definitely a great value. if reposados are your tequila of choice, u cannot go wrong with this one. As for the presentation, if it keeps the cost down, Im game!

Aroma: I really like the aroma of this repo. As 1tequila2 put it, it's very sweet and inviting, with a slight butterscotch and berry thrown in for good measure.
Initial Taste: A sweet entry with no bitterness. First taste is smoke and pear (?)
Body: A smokey agave body with notes of cinnamon, and slight floral and vanilla.
Finish: A somewhat quick finish, a slight letdown. Short, hot alcohol intensity, with a smoky agave lingering.

A couple of months ago I went to the Las Vegas Tequila Festival. It was a small get together but nice. I think I went around each booth about 3 times... including the cigar makers both.
I was truly suprise with Muchote. Its taste, smoothness and finish was sensational. It was the best of the bunch.
I have been raving to my friends about Muchote since the Festival. The bottle needs work but if that means its going to cost more then keep it as it is.

You can't judge a tequila by it's bottle & MuchoTE certainly proves that! I thought it was hype until I experienced this spirit. This tequila has a wonderful oak nose, with sweet, full agave, butterscotch/caramel flavors. It is very smooth with a medium, long finish. Weird name, cheesy bottle, but for $24 each, I completed some early Christmas shopping. I can't wait to try a three year old anejo from this destileria. All tequila should taste this good!

I really like the tequila it has a sweet smoky flavor, lingers on the tongue. Thought the packaging was a bit contrived.

Oh well, you don't drink the package, a good tequila worthy of recommendation.

Great Tequila value.

Not sure what the MuchoTe stands for...but the tequila is good.
