Milagro Reposado is made from 100% estate-grown, hand picked blue agave harvested from the highlands of Jalisco. The heart of the agave is roasted in clay ovens made from the same volcanic-rich soil where the blue agave fourishes in Jalisco, Mexico. Our triple distillation process produces tequila of extraordinary depth and character for unparalleled smoothness. Although Reposados are typically aged for two months, Milagro Anejo is aged in oak barrels for six months in small, handmade batches for a mellowed taste and pleasing bouquet.

Tasted in a caballito on April 19, 2008 sticking to the side of the glass eventually showing lasting legs.

Milagro Reposado

Color: light golden hue
Aroma: agave, clay, smoke
Taste: chocolate chip mint ice cream with a medium mouthfeel and smooth burn in the finish

For the price I do not think you can find a better Reposado. Good for cocktails and great straight. My three favorite reposado at the time of this writing have to be Sol Azul, Casa Noble & Corralejo still. Though this Milagro is the Tequila to use for the party drinks.

Milagro Reposado NOM 1420 Tasted on 5/27/07 at 7:40pm. I tried this tequila in a blind tasting at Zocalo out of a snifter. The tequila is a pale yellow color and is aged for 6 months. Milagro Reposado aromas consist of intense floral and fruit aspects followed by mild vanilla, spice, and earth. On the lighter side, this Reposado has a hint of smoke. On the tip of tongue, this tequila is mellow and has a medium mouth feel. While the tequila has moderate agave flavor, it has a medium amount of sweetness and a small amount of bitterness. The flavor of this tequila was intense earth, fruit, and floral followed by mild notes of chemicals and spice. Upon finishing this tequila, there is a medium-to-long duration of flavor and numbing alcohol intensity. I have rated this tequila at 86 out of 100 points.
