El Relingo Gold (Mixto) NOM 1486 Tasted on 1/12/09 at 3:10pm. I tried this tequila at my home and tasted it in a Riedel glass. With a pale yellow color, this tequila has intense aromas of floral, vanilla, and fruit. Other aromas include moderate earth and caramel. The tequila has a medium mouth feel and on the first sip has a low level of sweetness with mild bitterness. El Relingo Gold has moderate flavors of floral, vanilla, and earth on the backend followed by mild notes of agave, fruit, and wood. With a medium duration of flavor, this tequila comes to a subtle numbing finish with a bit of a bite. El Relingo Gold has received the rating of 85/86 points out of 100.
