Tasted on 10/11/08 out of a double ball glass. Not being a huge fan of Cazadores blanco, I was a bit hesitant to try this one (Same NOM). But I was very pleasantly surprised.

Aroma: A nice nose of vanilla and citrus.
Initial Taste: Upon entry, it's smooth with no bitterness. First taste I detected was a creamy vanilla. A semi oily mouth feel.
Body: A nice agave body complimented by vanilla and citrus.
Finish: Of medium duration semi heated. With a lingering taste of vanilla.

Tasted on the rocks June 1, 2008.

Corzo Silver

Color: clear
Aroma: grapefruit
Taste: light to medium on the tongue with the taste of agave & vanilla with a smooth finish

Corzo is a heavier version of Cazadores Silver with less of the alchohol taste and burn. My blanco favorites are at the time of this writing Chinaco, Siete Leguas, Corralejo and Milagro. I do like the very modern shaped sharp lined bottle.

I have become a rocks drinker with Tequila, it seems to open the nose just enough to really enjoy the aromas with less of the alcohol. Rocks mind you is 2-3 small ice cubes. This is incredible in the nose with wonderful clean flavors of citrus and vanilla. Don't let it sit on the ice to long or it becomes dangerously smooth.

Corzo Silver ? NOM 1487 ? Tasted 2/7/07. With a clear color, Corzo Silver has intense aromas of floral, spice, and earth. Moderate aromas consist of fruit and smoke. The tequila has a low bitterness to it and a semi sweet aftertaste. Initial flavors are intense agave and earth. There are also moderate floral and fruit, spicy, and smokey flavors. A tingly, numbing alcohol intensity and a short duration of flavor bring this tequila experience to an end. This tequila received the rating of ?B+.?
