Tequila 7 Leguas Blanco

Tequila 7 Leguas Blanco - Brilliant, luminous silvery hues, a powerful body. Enjoy the nuances of perfect distillation, leaving a trail of subtle aromas which build up to the final enjoyment of slowly-cooked agave.

One of the oldest distilleries in Mexico, Casa Siete Leguas has more than fifty years of experience in the making of tequila by means of a traditional process delivering full-bodied, high-quality spirits of refined flavor. Tequila Siete Leguas is steeped in heritage and tradition, and consists of a Blanco, a Reposado, an Añejo and a D'Antaño, all made of 100% Tequilana Weber Agave. The D'Antaño is aged up to five years. This tequila carries the name of Pancho Villa's famous horse.

7 Leguas Blanco NOM 1120 Tasted on 5/7/07 at 5:00pm. I tried this tequila, which cost me $9, at Zocalo and tasted it in a snifter. With a clear color, this tequila has intense aromas of floral, earth, and spice. Other aromas include moderate fruit with mild smoke. The tequila has a thin mouth feel and on the first sip is sweet with a hint of bitterness. Intense flavors of earth and agave are followed by moderate notes of fruit and floral. With a long duration of flavor, tastes of mild spice, smoke, and wood bring this tequila to a numbing finish. 7 Leguas Blanco has received the rating of 93 points out of 100.
