Herencia de Plata Anejo, 100% blue Agave Tequila was distinguished at the toast offered by the Queen Elizabeth II to Vicente Fox Quesada, President of Mexico, and Alderman Gavyn Arthur, Lord Mayor of London, at the Guild Hall in London on November 12, 2002.

First sniff is very subdued, offering only mild caramel and agave - very light vanilla and alcohol. Aroma later develops a deeper scent, like chocolate. Entry is sweet with mild herbal and spice. Agave presence deepens with subsequent sips. Finishes slowly with slightly bitter and pleasing peppery tingle.
I believe the Anejo is a better balanced product than its Reposado brother, although they are both good value within their price range.
