El Diamante Del Cielo Anejo Tequila

El Diamante Del Cielo Anejo Tequila - Anejo Tequilas are the smoothest and most expensive to produce. Their smooth and sophisticated oaky body and rich, bold flavor are the result of aging in small, government sealed oak barrels. To keep costs down, most Tequilas are bottled immediately. Although it is a much more expensive process, Cielo Anejo is aged up to four years - resulting in a smoother, more flavorful tequila perfect for sipping.

Estate bottled, 100% pure blue agave, rich in tradition.

Love the presentation, aromas, taste and finish is good but to much oak which covers up all the rest making it not just a tequila lacking agave taste but without good balance. It is smooth for those who are not hard liquor drinkers.

This is my favorite anejo. I was turned on to it about a year ago by the manager of my local liquor store. It has a very distinct vanilla and caramel flavor and the finish is smooth. Those who want a more agave flavor probably won't like this but I happen to love the aged oak flavor.
