Del Dueno Jerezito Anejo

Del Dueno Jerezito Anejo tequila is aged in 2 woods for a richer flavor. Two casks of different character produce a deeper, more complex flavor. During maturation, the "Jerezito" from Del Dueno is transferred from a traditional oak cask to an original sherry oak cask, thus acquiring character and flavor from each.

An interesting Anejo. It is aged in dry sherry barrels rather than sweet sherry like the Buscadores or other sherry finished Tequilas. The aging lends to a dry tequila unlike anything else on the market (think Cabernet Sauvignon Tannins). The finish is similar to a high quality reposado more than an anejo, however, it is still worth a try for someone looking for a unique, well made product.
