Tequila De Los Altos Anejo

De Los Altos Tequila is grown in Jalisco's Highlands, Los Altos, famous for their rich red clay soils, and is produced in the original ways of our ancestors, allowing us to get "The Spirit of the Agave". This anejo is 100% Blue Agave and rested over one year in oak barrels.

D Los Altos Anejo NOM 1499 Tasted 2/16/07. This tequila is pale yellow in color and has a intense aromas of floral, fruit, and earth. There are also moderate aromas of spice followed by a hint of vanilla and caramel. A mellow taste on the tip of the tongue leads to a low sweetness and somewhat bitter tequila taste. The D Los Altos Anejo flavor contains intense flavors of agave and earth followed by moderate floral accents. Mild notes of fruit with a hint of vanilla also accompany this tequila. D Los Altos Anejo finishes with a short duration of flavor and no alcohol feeling. This tequila has been awarded the overall rating of a B/B-.
