This reposado seems very representative of mid-range tequilas from the Central Region. Those who are acquainted with other products from La CofradiĀa Tequilera will find the aromas and flavours very familiar, although much lighter than, for example, Casa Noble. Bright pale gold colour with a very viscous appearance in the Riedel glass. Initial aroma is wet earth, agave and herbals. Semi oily in the mouth, it opens with a mild sweetness. Its moderate body offers agave, herbals and wood which finally yield to a long spicy finish with more agave and earth. This reposado is offered in various bottle styles - the Iguana, Cactus etc. One point of interest with this bottle is the labelling - front label and neck collars are a very coarse paper made from fibres of the Weber Blue Agave.
